Yuthona Mae Blanton

Yuthona Mae Blanton, age 64 years of New Trenton, IN passed away suddenly Sept. 30, 2007. Born Feb. 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Fred J. & Evelyn (Reed) Gilbert. She married Henry Blanton on Oct. 28, 1961 in Newport, KY. Mrs. Blanton was a school bus driver for the Franklin Co. Schools & member of the House of Power & Prayer in Harrison, OH. Mrs. Blanton is survived by her husband Henry Blanton, children Evelyn (Gerald) Esterkamp, Jerry Blanton & Anthony (Cynthia) Blanton; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; siblings Evelyn Jean (Gary) Heinzelman, Fred (Mary) Gilbert, Jr & the late Donald J. "Teet" Gilbert. Visitation will be Wed. Oct. 3, 2007 from 5-8 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Evelyn Esterkamp & Pastor George Savage officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, IN. Memorials are suggested to the House of Power & Prayer c/o the funeral home.
