Woodroe "Woody" Adams

Woodroe "Woody" Adams, age 71 passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his home in St. Leon, IN. Born May 17, 1944 in Whitesburg, KY he was the son of Albert & Maggie (Cornett) Adams. Woody married Glenda Moore on November 30, 1963 in New Trenton, IN and was a member of the New Point Christian Church. He was partner/operator for over 30 years at the State Line Garage & Auto Body. He loved country music and was a member of the Hoosier Hills Car Club. Woody is survived by his wife Glenda Adams and siblings William (Gail) Adams of Florida, Floyd (Debbie) Adams of Batesville, IN, Kenneth (Marcia) Adams of Batesville, IN, Ben (Debbie) Adams of Batesville, IN, Virginia Moore of Napoleon, IN and Lula Mae of Batesville, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings James Edward Adams, Harlin Dee Adams & Thelma Sue Trent. Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Earl Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Methodist Cemetery, Sunman, IN. Memorials are suggested to New Point Christian Church or Dearborn County Hospice c/o the funeral home.
