Pastor Winston Shelton, age 82 of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Mt. Washington Care Center in Cincinnati, OH. He was born on August 9, 1933 in Woodbine, KY. Pastor Shelton married Nellie Pearl Hollingsworth on February 14, 1953 in Richmond, IN. He was a pastor for several years in the Richmond, Harrison, Bright & Ross areas. He was a member of the Forrest Hill Baptist Church. Pastor Shelton is survived by his children Mary Jean (Greg) Bolser of Brookville, IN, Gary (Beverly) Shelton of Harrison, OH, Jerry Shelton of Anderson Twp., OH, Thomas (Shannon) Shelton of Zainesville, OH, and Wendell (Laurie) Shelton of Anderson Twp., OH. He will also be missed by his 32 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Pearl Shelton and son Winston Eugene Shelton. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 10am until time of services at 1:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Ben Price officiating. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery, Ross, OH. Memorials are suggested to the Forrest Hill Baptist Church for the homeless shelter c/o the funeral home.
