Willie Lee Hightower

Willie Lee Hightower (nee DeWitt), age 95 of W. Harrison, IN passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2005 in Brookville, IN. Born January 10, 1910 in Moran, TX she was the daughter of the late George & Ella (Terry) DeWitt. She married John Hightower in 1935. Mrs. Hightower is survived by her daughter Janis (Jerry) Whitmire of W. Harrison, IN; grandchildren John Whitmire, Don Whitmire & Mellissa Gayer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Hightower and sisters Loraine Weir, Jessie Gore, Mary Hunterman, Georgia Dunham, Thelma Stewart & Maude Waters. Visitation will be Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 2:00 followed by services at 3:00pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Larry Holmes officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Franklin County Humane Society.
