William "Bill" J. Green, Jr.

William "Bill" J. Green Jr., age 68 of Cincinnati, OH passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Born August 30, 1944 in London, England he was the son of the late William Sr. & Lillian Ruth (Howard) Green. Bill married Phyllis Whitaker in 1968 and she preceded him in death in 2000. He worked at JTM in Harrison, OH as a packer, enjoyed watching the Bengals, loved the outdoors and especially loved his family. Bill is survived by his children Phillip Green of Cincinnati, OH, Billy Green of Harrison, OH, Patricia (Mitchell) Ritz of Detroit, MI and Tammy Walter of Tipton, OH. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Heather, Dakota & Nick, his great grandchildren Elizabeth, Hannah & Hailey and his siblings Ruth (Ernie) Gillespie of Lawrenceburg, IN, Joe (Sandy) Green of Batesville, IN & Paul Green of Rising Sun, IN. In addition to his parents and his wife Phyllis Green, he was preceded in death by his brothers Arthur & David Green. Visitation will be Monday, February 25, 2013 from 11am until time of services at 1:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Assoc. c/o the funeral home.
