Walter Danny Smith

Walter "Butch" Danny Smith, age 67 passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at his home in Harrison, OH. Born September 21, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of Danny & Leona (Kelly) Smith. The 1965 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School was married to Helen Connelly. He was an Iron Worker and member of Union Local 44 in Cincinnati, OH. He proudly served his county in the US Navy during Vietnam. Butch is survived by his children Darren (Linda) Smith of Bright, IN and Stacey Parrella of Harrison, OH. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Daylin Parrella, Dakota Rosemeyer, Dustin Smith and Dalton Smith along with siblings Winston (Linda) Smith, Warren Smith, William Smith, Carolyn (Ray) McClure, Phyllis (Roy) Davis, Charlotte (Rodney) Adams, Marilyn Whitaker & Sherrie (Pete) Britton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Smith, and siblings Wallace Smith, Wayne Smith and Myrna Dill. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 9am until time of services at 11:00am at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cleves, OH. Memorials are suggested to the Walter Smith Benefit at any 5/3 Bank.
