Walter A. Feller

Walter A. Feller, age 88 of Harrison, OH passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, IN. Born May 16, 1927 in St. Leon, IN he was the son of Adolph & Carolyn (Hoffman) Feller. Walter worked as a press operator for 37 years at Ford/Filco in Connersville, IN. He married Alice L. Kober on Feb. 25, 1951 in St. Leon, IN and she preceded him in death on Dec. 30, 2004. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Harrison, OH. Mr. Feller is survived by his children Gary (Katherine) Feller of Sunman, IN, Constance "Connie" (Merl) Dickerson of Harrison, OH, Rebecca (Phillip) Eckstein of Sunman, IN and Tom (Betsy) Feller of Batesville, IN. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Bryan (Wendy) Feller, Brandyn (Melissa) Feller, Anthony Dickerson, Amber Eckstein, Kyle Covert & Kristin Covert along with his great grandchildren Katie, Emily, Bailey, Lauren, Avery, Lucy & Sam and sisters Dorothy Campbell of W. Harrison, IN and Joan Cox of Harrison, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Alice Feller and siblings William Feller, Richard Feller, Helen Bingman, Rose Alig, Marie Wilhelm, George (Betty) Feller of Harrison, OH, Evelyn Donawerth & Martha Gausman. Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2015 from 10am -1pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 1:30pm at St. John the Baptist Church with Father Edward Shine officiating. Burial will follow services in St. John Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Assoc. or St. Andrews Health Campus c/o the funeral home.
