Virginia N. Thiele

Virginia N. Thiele, age 94 passed away Sunday, January 15, 2022.  Born November 4, 1927 in Wilmington, Ohio the daughter of Paris and Velma (Whitaker) Turner.

Virginia an avid reader, puzzler and intellectually curious, enjoyed traveling, experiencing nature and serving her community.  Devoted to and loved her family and friends.  Married Karl Thiele Jr. September 16, 1950 in Norwood, Ohio and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Harrison for many years.

Survived by her children Karen (Steven) Hartjes and Karl (Kay) Thiele.  Grandmother of Adam (Emily) Peak, Kara (Kevin) Ulm, Kelly (fiancé Eric Hays) Thiele, Kristofer (Jenna) Thiele and Kristin (Zachary George) Harmeyer. Great grandmother of Harrison, Finley, Kameron, Kallie, Sawyer, Oliver, Lucille and Beatrice.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends, whom she cherished and loved as well.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents Paris and Velma Turner, beloved husband Karl Thiele Jr. and two siblings Robert and Lois.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Joshua Long officiating all at First Presbyterian Church 115 S. Vine Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at Tate Township Cemetery in Bethel, Ohio.
