Virginia Mary Ellen Ibold

Virginia “Gina” Mary Ellen Ibold, age 95 passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at her home in Bright, IN.  Born May 5, 1921 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of Peter & Josephine Ellen (Mechley) Laterro.

Gina married Charles Ibold on April 14, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH and was a member of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Church in Bright.

Gina is survived by her children Albert Ibold of Hamilton, OH; Robert Ibold (Linda) of Orlando, FL; Charlene Lainhart (Marvin) of Fairfield, OH; Michael Ibold (Vivian) of Guilford, IN; Linda Rohe of Lebanon, OH; Kathy Jeffries (Ron) of Guilford, IN; Donald Ibold (Tracy) of Hamilton, OH; Mary Grace Catron (Mike) of Hebron, KY; Mark Ibold of Bright, IN and Penny Wilson (Tony) of Knoxville, TN.  She will also be missed by her 32 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband who died Dec. 20, 2009, she was preceded in death by her stepson Sonny Ibold, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation will be Friday, June 17, 2016 from 8:30 until time of blessing at 10:30am all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, 215 E. Broadway St., Harrison, OH with Father Jeffrey M. Kemper officiating.  Burial will follow blessing at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, OH.  Memorials are suggested to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, 245 Norris Ave., North Vernon, IN  47265.
