Violet Mae Slayback

Violet Mae Slayback, age 80 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 in Harrison, Ohio. Born May 4, 1938 in Dearborn County, Indiana the daughter of Jim and Bertha (Purvis) Medecke.

Violet married Lewis Slayback October 5, 1956 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Violet is survived by her children Bill (Beth) Slayback, Dave (Sue) Slayback, Donny (Celeste) Mellis, Becky Mathews, Mary (Jim) Abrams, Troy (Pam) Slayback, Missy Slayback and Aaron Slayback.  Grandmother of 29 and great grandmother of 25.  Sister of Luella (Will) Pettit, James Medecke, Bert Akeman, Nancy and Kathy Medecke.

Preceded in death by her parents Jim and Bertha Medecke, husband Lewis Slayback, son Bo Slayback and sisters Jo and Jane Medecke.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. a prayer service will be held at 8:00 P.M. all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.
