Viola Johnson

Viola Johnson, age 88 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 in Lawrenceburg, IN. Born April 17, 1917 in Manchester, KY she was the daughter of the late Frank & Addie (King) Hicks. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in New Trenton, IN. Mrs. Hicks is survived by her son Ken (Dollie) Wolf of Logan, IN and daughter Judy (Dennis) Livengood of W. Harrison, IN; brothers Alfred Hicks of Port Charlotte, FL and Clyde Hicks of Clay County, KY; sisters Paulina Houston of Batesville, IN; Vergie Cowens of Clay County, KY and Eunice Bunner of New Castle, IN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Samuel Anderson and Walter Johnson; son Larry Anderson; 1 grandson; brothers Monroe, Lee & Voyd Hicks and sister Matilda Hall. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Services will be Thursday at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Bright Fire & EMS.
