Versa Mae Burns

Versa Mae Burns, age 85 of Hooven, OH passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati Western Hills. Born July 10, 1927 in Arcanum,OH she was the daughter of Charles & Goldie (Byers) Knose. Versa is survived by her children Phyllis Ashcraft of Ross, OH, Linda (Jim) Gordon of Miamitown, OH, Gary Stafford of Brookville, IN, Bob (Linda) Stafford of Florence, KY, Chuck Staffford of Cleves, OH, Patty (Danny) Combs of Hooven, OH, Wally Stafford of Hooven, OH & Larry Stafford of Hooven, OH. She will also be missed by 20 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and sister Rosemary (Buck) Lail of Harrison, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Wallace Stafford in 1978, her second husband Lloyd Burns and siblings Earl Knose, Frances Knose, Opal Knose and Ruth Noes. Visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 10-12pm followed by services at 12 noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Carmichael. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Cincinnati c/o the funeral home.
