Verna Marie Drury

Verna Marie Drury, age 91 of W. Harrison, IN passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at her home. Born November 21, 1916 in Bonne Terre, MO she was the daughter of the late James & Nancy (Byington) Pinkston. She married Rodger Drury on June 8, 1937 in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of Arnold Baptist Tabernacle in Missouri. Mrs. Drury is survived by her children Harlan Gene Drury of Barnhart, MO & Lavonne (Kelly) Thorpe of W. Harrison, IN. She will also be missed by 6 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers & 4 sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 6-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 12noon at Heiligtig-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold, MO with Pastor James Beller officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Burger, MO.
