Verle Doty

Verle Doty, age 90 of Harrison, OH passed away Wed., Dec. 11, 2013 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born July 8, 1923 in Franklin County, IN he was the son of the late Wilmer & Mabel (Klemm) Doty. He was a design engineer for Federal Equipment Comp. in Cincinnati. The 1941 graduate of Whitewater High School married Fay Marie Keen on June 14, 1947 at First Presbyterian Church in Harrison. Verle is survived by his children Lou Ann (Donald) Strimple of Lawrenceburg, IN & Mark Doty of Harrison, OH, his grandchildren Mark Doty II & Tara (Steve) Hammons, great grandchildren Dylan & Logan Hammons, nieces & nephews Allen Donaldson, Terry & Barbara Viel and Pam & Butch Staat. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Fay Doty, sister Inez Donaldson and brother Harry Doty. Funeral Services will be Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at 1pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Harrison Fire & EMS c/o the funeral home.
