Vera Lenora Medley

Vera Lenora Medley, age 83 years of Cleves, OH passed away Sunday, May 8, 2005 in Cleves. Born January 10, 1922 in Stearns, KY she was the daughter of the late Charles Oscar & Minnie Ellen (Davis) Taylor. She married Carl Medley on September 18, 1943 in St. Petersburg, FL. She worked at Kedama in Pinellas, FL as a seamstress.] Mrs. Medley is survived by her children Vera (Norman "Corkey") Brewer of Alexandria, KY; Lettie (Jerry Sr.) Wessler of Harrison, OH and Carl Medley Jr. of Independence, KY; sisters Carlene Fuller of Farmington, MI and Morine Pittman of Muncie, IN and brothers Corell Taylor of Bright, IN; Jonnie Taylor of Muncie, IN and Charles Taylor of Muncie, IN; grandchildren Shane, Joe, Lisa, Melinda, Jerry Jr., Angela, Jason & Heather and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson James and sisters Gladys Berry & Josephine Mays. Visitation will be Wed. May 11, 2005 from 9-11:30am followed by services at 11:30am all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Burial will be in Miamitown Cemetery in Miamitown, OH. Memorials are suggested to VA Hospital.
