Thomas Ward

Thomas L. Ward, age 86 years of Cincinnati, OH formerly Harrison, OH passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 in Cincinnati. Born August 10, 1921 in St. Louis, MO he was the son of the late Thomas & Hazel (Riddlen) Ward. He married Lois Ann (Benge) Ward who preceded him in death then married Betty (Strecker) Ward who also preceded him in death. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, served under General Patton. Mr. Ward is survived by his children George (Jennifer) Ward of Covington, KY; Ruby Ward of San Antonio, TX & Rick Blanton of Texas; 13 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by his daughters Kellie (Tim) Hibbard of Delhi, OH & Hazel Ward; siblings Margaret Collier, Ruth Rhinholtz, George Ward & Leo Ward. Visitation will be Monday, June 16, 2008 from 9:30am-11:00 am followed by services at 11:00 AM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Lt. Col. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites by the Harrison Funeral Detail.
