Sue Cochran

Sue Cochran, age 79, of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Friday, August 4, 2023. Born September 17, 1943 in Totz, Kentucky, the daughter of Pearl and Ruby (Cornett) Brown.

Sue, a graduate of Totz High School married Rev. Tommy Cochran September 17, 1983, in Harrison, Ohio. Sue worked at Higher Ground as a cook for many years.

Survived by her husband Tom Cochran. Mother of Dave (Wilma) Hovis and Jerome Hovis. Grandmother of David (Savannah) Hovis and great-grandmother of Peyton, Hannah, and Paisley. Sister of Billie Brewer, Bobbie (Raymond) St. John, and Jim (Katie) Brown.

Preceded in death by her parents Pearl and Ruby Brown, granddaughter Tiffany Hovis and siblings Jeannette Forester, Retha May, Doris Harris, Eula Christine “Chris” Millard, Charles, and Pearl Brown, Jr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Dave Garrett officiating, all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.  A burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
