Steven Reatherford

Steven Reatherford age 72 of Osgood, Indiana gained his wings Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his home in Osgood with his family by his side.  Born March 28, 1949 the son of Albert and Myrtle (Peters) Reatherford.

He married the love of his life Lynn (Brown) Reatherford on April 19, 1969.  Steve served in the Marine Corp Reserve Forces class III, and was called to duty during the Vietnam War where he was attached to United States Marine Corps “D” Company, 1 ^st Battalion 2 ^nd Infantry Training Regiment Camp Pendleton, California.

Steve was a scaffolding repair man with Hi-Low Climbers in Cincinnati, Ohio for 20 years.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #267, Osgood, Indiana.

Steve was a family man, and loved spending his days with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  When he wasn’t with his grandkids, he was at a car show or in the garage fixing up the “Hot Rod” with his boys.

He is survived by his wife Lynn of 52 years.  Daughter and son in law Dana and Scott Oney, son and daughter in law Tony and Julie (Bedel) Reatherford, Jason Reatherford and Josh Reatherford.  Grandchildren Dustin and Faith (Oney) Meador, Tristen and Cole Oney, Nichole, Chandler, Colton Reatherford, Lealand Sibley, Tyler, Derek and Shelby Reatherford, Morgan and Kaiden Reatherford, Catee Cole, Nate Eads.  Great grandkids Landon and Korbin Meador.  Brother of Manford Reatherford and Norma Durham.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by his parents, six brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. until time of funeral services with Herbie White officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Military honors provided by United States Marine Corp and Osgood American Legion Post #267.
