Stephen A. Landfried

Stephen A. Landfried, 68, passed away on January 10, 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a hard-fought battle with ALS. He is survived by his caring wife of 46 years, Nicki, son Daniel (Allison), 2 granddaughters Elizabeth and Josephine, and his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Borgen. He is also survived by his siblings and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for over three decades in construction and metal machining. Steve enjoyed outdoor activities, woodworking and riding his John Deere tractor. He loved spending time with his family, doing home improvement projects with his son, and playing chess and bubble popper with his granddaughters. Even as he became more incapacitated by his disease, he found ways to spend his time wisely. He showed everyone what it truly means to live and when the time came, to die with grace and dignity. He will be missed by many. Services will be private. Donations in Steve’s memory may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America or Hospice of Cincinnati.
