Shari Lynn Whitaker

Shari Lynn Whitaker, age 56, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born August 4, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Dennis Samson and Patricia (Baron) Samson.

Shari graduated from West High in 1979 and worked as a Training Coordinator for the IRS in Cincinnati, retiring August 2017.

Survived by her devoted husband Damon Whitaker of Harrison, Ohio, daughter Melissa (Ryan) Slabaugh of College Hill, Ohio, mamaw of Zophie Slabaugh.  Shari is also survived by her father Dennis Samson and brother Greg Samson both of Harrison, Ohio.

Shari is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Samson and her brother Tony Tinker.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 21 from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 P.M. all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030 with Pastor Mike Smith officiating.  Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery Harrison, Ohio.
