Sam Moning

Sam Rae Moning (born Samantha) age 23 of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Wednesday August 9, 2017.  Sam is the son of Brian and Cindy (Dafoe) Moning, brother to Christine (Pete) Marx and Kristen (Alex) Elkins.  Uncle to Nathan, Emma and Cooper Marx.  Sam is preceded in death by Tony Moning and Guy James.  Also survived by two grandmothers, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

After graduating from South Dearborn High School in 2013 Sam attended college courses through Ivy Tech while working in downtown Cincinnati.  Since moving to Ashville, NC a year ago, Sam explored his passion for the outdoors by working as a landscaper and taking frequent hikes on his off days. At the time of his passing, Sam was living with his loving girlfreind, Khyrstne, and their three canines.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday August 16, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Memorial donations may be sent to 4 Circles recovery in Ashville, North Carolina c/o the funeral home.
