Russell Ray Hon

Russell Ray Hon, age 91 passed away at his home in Harrison, OH on December 4, 2016.  Born in Glencoe, KY he was the son of Luther & Jessie (Ellis) Hon.

The US Navy veteran of WWII retired from National Lead of Ohio. On May 14, 1949, he married Evelyn Marie Ballard in Rising Sun, IN.  He was a member of Harrison Church of the Nazarene and VFW Post 7570.

Russell is survived by his daughter Pam Eldridge of Harrison, OH, grandson David Ray Eldridge (Christan) of Harrison, OH; great grandchildren Dylan Ray, Maria & Colt Russell Ray Eldridge and 1 brother.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Marie Hon, son Larry Ray Hon and 9 brothers and sisters.

Services for Mr. Hon were private at the convenience of the family at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH.  Burial is in Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, OH.
