Russell W. Gillespie

Russell W. Gillespie, age 69 of Harrison, Ohio passed away on June 22, 2017 at Mercy Health, West in Cincinnati, Ohio.   The son of Raymond and Rita (nee: Bickers) Gillespie was born on August 8, 1947 in North Bend, Ohio.  Russell married Mandy (Evans) on February 28, 1980 in Cheviot, Ohio

Russell worked as custodian for Three Rivers School district for 26 years.  He was a member of Winter Gardens Club.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Mandy, children Trent (Tammy) Gillespie of Harrison, Heidi (Joe) Gruber of West Harrison and Dylan Gillespie of Harrison; grandchildren Toby, Zoey, Tessa, Leighla, Talli and Tanner; along with his siblings Albert Gillespie of Lawrenceburg, IN, Harold Gillespie of Cincinnati, Cindy Kniga of Harrison, and Betty Fox of Cincinnati.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Raymond Gillespie Jr., and Paul Gillespie and sister, Mary Byrd.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 10am – 12:00pm at New Vision Church (formerly Mt. Calvary) 10400 Carolina Trace Rd., Harrison with funeral services immediately following at 12:00pm.

Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Cemetery, North Bend.
