Russell Fette

Russell Fette, age 96 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in Harrison, Ohio.  Born in New Alsace, Indiana October 30, 1924 the son of Cornelius and Agnus (Siefert) Fette.

Russell a Guilford High school graduate married Anne Theresa Riehle September 14, 1949 at St. Nicholas Church and served his country in the United States Navy during WW II.

Russell is survived by his children Dan (Paulette) Fette, Michael Fette, David (Sue) Fette, William Fette, Mary (Jack) Steele, Clara Fette and Karen (Richard) Russell.  Grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 16.  Brother of Mildred (Melvin) Meyer.

Preceded in death by his parents Cornelius and Agnus Fette, wife Anna Theresa Riehle-Fette and siblings Rita Fox, Rosemary Galle, Edward, Marvin, Irvin, Robert, Raymond Fette, Irene Fette, Ethel Roell, Charlotte Gutzwiller and Marlene Galle.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harison, Ohio 45030.  Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021, 10:00 A.M. with Father Jeff Kemper officiating at St John the Baptist Catholic Church 10010 Carolina Trace Road Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at St John Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy and Harrison Honor Guard.

Memorials may be directed to St John the Baptist Building fund.
