Ruby "Kathleen" Offill

Ruby "Kathleen" Offill (nee Childres) age 83 years of Brookville, IN passed away Saturday, December 10, 2005 in Cincinnati, OH. Born June 5, 1922 in Letcher Co., KY she was the daughter of the late Fred Childres and Flora Brandon. She married Nelvin "Nick" Offill on January 16, 19363 in Lawrenceburg, IN. Mrs. Offill is survived by her children Kathy (Ricky) Hays of St. Leon, IN; Wallace Montgomery of Lady Lake, FL and Harry Montgomery of Connersville, IN; stepchildren Linda Abney of Harrison, OH; Dan Offill of Middletown, OH; Melvin Offill of Harrison, OH; Johnny Offill of Mt. Carmel, IN; Michael Offill of W. Harrison, IN and Melvy Offill of Harrison, OH. She will also be missed by 37 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband and son Larry Montgomery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2005 from 11am-1pm followed by services at 1:00 PM all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Ohio Parkinson Foundation c/o the funeral home.
