Ruben "Maynard" Hunt

Ruben "Maynard" Hunt, age 69 years of Cedar Grove, IN passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at UC Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born Janurary 19, 1939 in Greenup County, KY he was the son of Ottie Dick Hunt and Mimmie Francis (Craycraft) Hunt. Mr. Hunt was a carpenter for Southwest Ohio Local Carpenter's Union #002 and a member of VFW Post #7570, American Legion Post #199 and AMVETS #13. Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife Evalyn of 32 years, daughters Shari Bulmer (James) of Metamora and Cathleen Offill (Dennis) of Brookville, sons Larry Hunt (Tina) of Brookville, Jerry Hunt (Margie) of Cedar Grove and Tracy Hunt (Janie) of Brookville; 8 Grandchildren -Nicole, Cassandra, Britney, Brandy, Cory, Cody, Heather & Tail Hunt; 1 Great Grandchild - Aaron Peters; 3 brothers - Earl, Dave & Milford and 1 sister - Carrie. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Leona, Marlene, Homer & Wade. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 3, 2008, 1:00pm at the funeral home with Reverend Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, IN. Memorials are suggested to the Lukemia Foundation at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
