Rosemary Mcclanahan

Rosemary McClanahan, born December 15, 1958, of West Harrison, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Mother of Brian Sams. Dear sister to Samantha (Chip) Green, Lavern (Frank) Rogers, April (Tommy) Johnson, and Tony (Heather) Sinclair. Loved and cherished by her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great niece and nephew, and many other loved ones.

Preceded in death by her father Jasper ‘Jay” Sams, her parents Janet Hornsby and Vernon Sinclair, one niece Stephanie Ward, and one great-nephew Maddox Edwards.

Rosemary was in the United States Army where she received an honorable discharge and is now a 100% disabled American Veteran in which she was very proud of. Rosie very much-loved life. She enjoyed vacations with her family and her favorite was to take people out for food.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Kelly Barnes officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030. Military honors will follow at the funeral home.

A celebration of Rosie’s life will be held at the New Trenton Fire Hall in New Trenton, Indiana after the funeral services.
