Roger Kramer

Roger Kramer, 89 peacefully passed away at home May 1, 2021.  Born April 23, 1932 in Campbell County, Kentucky the son of Carl and Margaret (Schutz) Kramer.

Loving husband of 66 years to JoAnn Kramer.  Father of Kenneth (Trish) Kramer of Clearwater, Florida, Ron Kramer of Hebron, Kentucky and Judy (Doug) Gula of West Chester, Ohio.  Grandfather of seven and Great grandfather of 16.  Brother of Ellen (Paul) Hotz.

Preceded in death by his parents Carl and Margaret Kramer, son Jim Kramer and seven brothers and sisters.

Served as a proud Marine, retired from Cincinnati Inc. where he worked for 40 years.  He enjoyed clearing land with his chainsaw and always had plenty of firewood for the winter.  He also enjoyed hunting, gardening and sports especially the Cincinnati Reds.  Roger was even nicknamed “Roger the dodger”.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 1:30 P.M. at St John the Baptist Church 508 Park Ave. Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at Gibson Cemetery Bright, Indiana with military honors.

Memorials may be directed to Shriners Hospital c/o the funeral home.
