Robert Strothman

Robert "Bob" Strothman, age 65 years of Harrison, OH passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash. Born December 28, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Charles & Helen (Mellen) Strothman. He married Carolyn Sue Scott on September 9, 1972. The 1961 Brookville High School graduate worked for the Harrison Foundry & Argosy Casino, retired from the Army Reserve in 2003 at was a member of the St. Joseph American Legion Post 464 in St. Leon, IN. Mr. Strothman is survived by his sons Richards (Jennifer) Scott of Colerain, OH & Ryan (Lori) Strothman of Hebron, KY. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Logan & Carson Scott and Owen Strothman and sister Kathy (Don) Bauman of Brookville, IN well as numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Sue Strothman on September 9, 2006. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 10:30am at St. Peter Catholic Church with visitation from 9:30-10:30am with Father Humbert Moster OFM officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery with military graveside rites by the St. Joseph American Legion Post 464.
