Robert Edward Lefker

Robert Edward Lefker, age 82, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at his residence in Madison, Indiana.

He was born on October 21, 1940 to Charles and Frances (Walriven) Lefker in Bromley, Kentucky.  He married Martha Dole on July 13, 1963 and was a machinist for General Electric.  He was a member of the Steelworkers Union Local 1728 and the Local Autoworkers Union 648.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Martha Lefker, his children Pamela (David Fox) George, Michelle (Rusty Ross) Lefker, and April Lefker.  He was also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Frances Lefker, his brother Charles Lefker, and sister JoAnn Johnson.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating and all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made In Memory of Robert E. Lefker to St. Jude’s Childrens Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or to the Salvation Army of Madison, 6060 Castleway W Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250, or you may leave them in the care of the funeral home.
