Robert A. Cornelius

Robert A. “Butch” Cornelius, age 67 of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Cincinnati, OH.  Born December 18, 1949 in Cincinnati he was the son of George & Violet (Ball) Cornelius.

The 1969 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School and retired Navy Veteran married Veronica Thrasher on Dec. 11, 1970 in Harrison, OH and she survives.  He is also survived by his children Katie Beaton of Harrison, OH, George Cornelius (Cindy) of Franklin Co., IN, Emily Shaffer (Joseph) of Harrison, OH and Maggie Manton (Radshad) of Harrison, OH.  He will also be missed by his grandchildren Becca, Rose, Noah, Annie, Tina, Bubba, Gweni, Violet, Charlotte, Hope & Stella and his sisters Georgette Cornelius & Jenny Cornelius both of Miamitown, OH.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 5 from 11am until time of services at 1pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Tim Prewitt officiating.  Burial will follow services at New Haven Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to DaVita Dialysis c/o Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, P.O.
