Rita L. Kocher

Rita L. Kocher, age 87 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 in Cincinnati, OH. Born August 29, 1919 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Mary (Poettker) Klus. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cincinnati, OH. She married Harlan J. Kocher on July 16, 1955 in St. Bernard, OH. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and the Ladies Sodality. Mrs. Kocher is survived by her daughters Mary (Paul) Graf of Sunman, IN; Anna (Joe) Milesky of Harrison, OH & Jane (Alvin) Powell of W. Harrison, IN; 9 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; sister Dorothy Klus. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harlan J. Kocher, brothers Joe, Paul & Richard Klus and sisters Hilda Johnson & Marie Klus. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6, 2007 from 4-8 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church with Father Edward Shine officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Harrison Life Squad or American Heart Assoc.
