Rick Young

Rick Young, age 54 passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at his home in W. Harrison, IN. Born December 24, 1960 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Ernest Young & Edith (McKenzie) Fagin.

On June 23, 2003 he married Zola Hall in W. Harrison. Rick worked for M&S Drywall, Robke Chevrolet and also as a truck driver. He attended PTC Ministries in Connersville.   Everyone knew that Rick had a big heart.  He loved his family and friends and he would go & do whatever was needed.  He, no matter what, always attended his grandchildren's events.  He loved to go fishing and camping with his girls.  He also was an Elvis impersonator at the Decanter Lounge in Harrison, OH.


Rick is survived by his wife Zola Young, daughters Krystal (Daniel) McFarland of Connersville, IN and Pam (Scott Felblinger) Gilbert of Hamilton, OH, stepfather Dennis Fagin of Sunman, IN and siblings Ernest “Butch” (Cassie) Young, Mike (Gayle) Young, Debbie (Timothy) Vest & Tina (Randall Robinson) Marcus.  He will also be missed by his grandchildren T.J. McNeely, Eric Malloni & Ryan Malloni and many beloved step grandchildren, nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Mike Young.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 10am until time of services at 12:00 noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Russell & Pastor Gary Zoz officiating. Memorials are suggested to Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses for the family.
