Richard E. Cranfill, Sr.

Richard E. Cranfill Sr., age 72 years, a self employed electrician of Brookville, IN passed away Monday, April 24, 2006 at his home. Born May 10, 1933 in Indianapolis, IN he was the son of the late George A. & Olive P. (Sparling) Cranfill. He married Lucy Mae Jewell on July 24, 1953 in Osgood, IN and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Clifton, OH. Mr. Cranfill is survived by his wife Lucy Mae Cranfill, children Richard E. (Debra) Cranfill Jr.; Amanda (Dennis) Westerman; Debra (Ray) Chalk and Christopher J. Cranfill all of Brookville, IN; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; brother of Wilma Jean Nickey of Cincinnati, OH; Patricia Olive Evans of Louisville, KY and half brother Steven Cranfill of Holton, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Iona Hagburg, Cora Lenon, Thelma Carson, Golda Lee Crum and George A. Cranfill. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26, 2006 from 10 A.M.-12 P.M. followed by services at 12:00 P.M. all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o the funeral home.
