Richard Alvin Dryden

Richard Alvin Dryden, age 70 years of Harrison, OH passed away May 27, 2010 in Harrison. Born June 28, 1939 in W. Harrison, IN he was the son of the late Edward & Alma (Carmichael) Dryden. He was a 1958 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School. He worked for US Shoe as a shoe cutter and later at Flora Fernald. He loved to garden, was an avid bowler and loved sports. He married Dolores Molloy on March 12, 1960 in Harrison. Mr. Dryden is survived by his wife Dolores Dryden, daughters Donna (Brian) Walker of Harrison, OH & Sandy (Bob) Batchelor of Bright, IN. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Brianna (Tim) Trucco, Kyle (Jessica) Batchelor, Krysta Batchelor and Brendan Walker, great grandson Brent Batchelor and siblings Edward (Linda) Dryden, Raymond Dryden & the late Kenneth (Mildred) Dryden and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 5-7pm followed by a memorial service at 7:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Harrison Fire Dept. c/o the funeral home.
