Rev. Shelby Neal Wyatt

Rev. Shelby Neal Wyatt, age 83, of West Harrison, Indiana, passed away peacefully in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Born the son of Chester and Dona (Woods) Wyatt on March 22, 1940 in Hamilton, Ohio, A graduate of Whitewater High School 1958, Rev. Shelby then married Janice Stokes on May 22, 1959 in Rockdale, Indiana.  He became an ordained minister of the Assembly of God and was also a machinist.

Rev. Shelby is survived by his loving wife, Janice Wyatt, his children Tim (Jeri Beth) Wyatt, Gregory (Antonia) Wyatt, and Shelly (Sean) Garbutt, his grandchildren Ashley Wyatt and Emily (Derek) Courtney, as well as Carrisa Wyatt, Jeffrey Wyatt, Irena (Matthew) Owens, and Alayna (Larry) Nguyen.  Also surviving are his brother Michael Chester (LaVonne) Wyatt and sister Imogene Hamon.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Dona Wyatt, his son Raymond Wyatt, his sister Eileen Bawden, and a set of twin siblings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. until the time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor James Jones officiating, all held at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Drewersburg Cemetery in West Harrison, Indiana.
