Rev. Don O'Hair

Reverend Don O’Hair of Middletown, OH passed away on September 21, 2020 at 93 years old at the Dayton Veterans Medical Center. Born February 15, 1927 in Middletown, Ohio the son of James and Emma (Hager) O’Hair. Rev. O’Hair was born on February 15, 1927 in Middletown, OH. He was a proud combat Veteran of the Merchant Marines serving his country in World War II. Don worked as a Lineman for CG&E, retiring in 1987. He was first and foremost dedicated to his faith in Jesus Christ, pastoring at Poasttown First Church of God for 12 years. He hosted a Christian Radio ministry with WPFB. Most rewarding for Don was working for 20 years in the Prison Ministry.

Don is survived by 7 children, Michael O’Hair, Yvonna Cox, Sharlana and Kevin Farley, Milana O’Hair, Daryl and Kim O’Hair, Paul O’Hair, La Donna and Todd Worthington and his wife of 47 years Maureen (Hensley) O’Hair. He is preceded by his first wives Dorothy (Adkins) O’Hair and Pauline (Pappas) O’Hair. Rev. O’Hair is survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 1:00 P.M. at Woodside Cemetery located at 1401 Woodside Blvd. in Middletown, Ohio 45044 with Pastor Arnold Brewer officiating. Jackman Hensley Funeral Home located at 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
