Raymond Keith Webster

Raymond Keith Webster, age 66 of Lawrenceburg, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the VA Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born on July 31, 1947 in Madison, IN he was the son of Raymond Lee & Kathleen (Hambrick) Webster. Raymond acquired the rank of Army Staff Sergeant during his service in the Vietnam War. He received various commendations including the National Defense Service Medal, the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star Medal. Raymond married LaVern Shepherd on October 18, 1980 in Harrison, OH. He retired from Lanxess (Bayer) in Addyston, OH as a Safety Coordinator. Ray was a member of the Harrison VFW Post #7570 and the Aurora VFW Post #5312. He is survived by his wife, LaVern, children, Cindy Spaulding of Florida, Shelly Rae (Tony Stanton) Cossman of Ross, OH, Stephanie (Gus) Viel of Bright, IN and Kerri (Vicki) Spaulding of Florida; grandchildren Brandy Carnes, Kyle Cossman, Breanna Fields, Bryson Spaulding, Brady Fields, Kaleb Spaulding and Colton & Kelsie Viel; and great granddaughter Callie Cossman; along with his brother Larry (Jane) Webster of Versailles, IN. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings: Sandra Upton, Patricia Jenkins, Gregory & Ricky Webster and his son Rodney Spaulding. Visitation will be Friday, May 16th from 5-8pm with Funeral Services at 10:00am on Saturday, May 17, 2014 all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Rev. Jeff Limerick officiating.
