Preston Helm

Preston Helm age 75 of Springfield Township, Ohio passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at Good Sam Hospital Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born September 22, 1942 in Clementsville, Kentucky the son of the late James Helm and Ina Clements Helm.

Preston retired from the U.S. Air Force and later owned and operated his own automotive business in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Married Judy Kemplin on April 2, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Preston is survived by his children Laura Savage of Springfield Township, Ohio, Diane (Lonnie) Maxson of Grove City, Ohio and Dan (Robyn) Helm of Crosby Township, Ohio.  Grandfather of Seven, Great grandfather of 11.  Brother of Brenda (Larry) Norman of Lebanon, Ohio and Debbie (Gary) Marcum of Pleasant Plain, Ohio.  Brother in law of Mary Helm of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Preston is preceded in death by his wife Judy Helm, son Tony Helm, granddaughter Brittany Hafner and brothers Jerry Helm and Kenneth Helm.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10:30 A.M. until time of memorial services at 11:00 A.M. all at Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church 9700 Dry Fork Road Harrison, Ohio 45030 with Pastor Justin Fuhrmann officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by the Harrison Funeral Detail.
