Phyllis Ann Wolf

Phyllis Ann Wolf, age 86, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at her home in Harrison, Ohio. She was born the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Wurtzler) Wilson, Sr., on January 16, 1938, in Harrison, Ohio.

A 1956 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School, Phyllis was married to Bernie “Skip” Wolf, Jr., until his passing in 2002.  She worked for the Southwest Local School District for 67 years wearing many hats over the years. Phyllis spent many of her days at the school and could also be found serving the community through the First Presbyterian Church in Harrison and with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Yeager-Benson Memorial American Legion Post 199.

She is survived by her loving family, leaving behind her children, Terry (Sharon) Wolf, Diane (John) Sweeney, Kathy (Steve) Jones, and BJ (Lana) Wolf, her grandchildren, Rick Sweeney, Lucy Sweeney, Will Sweeney, Max Sweeney, Eric Smith, and Dana Simon, and great‑grandchildren, Emmett and Russell Simon.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernie “Skip” Wolf, Jr., her parents Clifford and Helen Wilson, Sr., her brothers, Kenneth Lee Wilson, Clifford Wilson, Jr., Jack Wilson, and Alvin Wilson, and her granddaughter, Alexandra Sweeney.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home located at 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Joshua Long presiding at the First Presbyterian Church located at 115 South Vine Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030. A burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio.
