Pauline Joyce Taylor

Pauline Joyce (nee Schubert) beloved wife of 51 years to Charles Hugh Taylor, loving mom to Jay Meyer of Cincinnati, Ohio; Shellie Zahneis (Jeff) and Myra Clary (Jim) both of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; and Grandma to Dietrick Shorten, Matthew Shorten, Danielle Shorten, Justin Meyer, Brandon Clary and Great Grand Children, Taylor Shorten, Ashten Bollinger, Gavin Shorten, Halle Shorten, Benjamin Shorten, Kensie Bollinger and Kayen Shorten, passed away on December 19, 2012 at age 75. She was born May 11, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH to John & Della (McMann) Schubert. Pauline loved spending time with family and friends. She worked side by side with her loving husband Chuck building homes. Doing the staining and painting of houses and even building a few desks in a day, then coming home and cooking for her family. Pauline always had time for family. She loved to cook and sew and taught her girls to do the same. Pauline loved to entertain and was great at it, she would cook everything and put it together so seamlessly that you thought she hired a caterer but did it all herself and enjoyed doing it. Everyone always wanted her to have the parties and she had some fantastic ones at that. Pauline was also an expert packer as Chuck kept her on her toes by moving so often. There was never a dull moment in the Taylor household. Memorial Services at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 26, 2012 at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home.
