Orangie Hickman

Orangie Hickman age 81 of Harrison, Ohio passed away at her home on August 14, 2017.  Born on October 19, 1935 in Stearns, Kentucky the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Bell) Smith.

Orangie married James Dallas Hickman on April 14, 1956 in Jelico, TN. She worked for Sperry Rubber, JTM and was a homemaker.  Orangie was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Survived by her children Wendell (Bonnie) Hickman of Florence, KY, Donna (Daniel) Bunnell of Aurora, IN and Pam (Mark) Unwin of Harrison, OH.  Mama of Scott, Joe, Michael, Tom, Rachel, Kelley, Deana and Travis.  Great Mama of Cody, Dylan, Hailey, Karlie, Jake, Ashley, Brady, Cassidy, Lexi, Rickie, Tyler, Melody, Avery, Kinley and Kolton. Sister of Roy, Dwight, Fred, Robert and Anita Smith.

Preceded in death by her husband James Dallas Hickman, grandson Tony, great grandson Trey and brothers Arnold and Randall Smith.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Smyrna Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be Saturday, August 19 at 10:00 am with Pastor Chuck McMahan officiating at Smyrna Baptist Church, 4047 US HWY 52, New Trenton, IN.  Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery Harrison, OH.
