Opal Estridge

Opal Estridge (nee Day), age 80 years of Okeana, OH passed away Monday, October 3, 2005 at her home. Born June 4, 1925 in Fletcher Co., KY she was the daughter of the late John & Mallie Day. She married Virgil Estridge on November 25, 1944. Mrs. Estridge is survived by her daughters Barbara Foster of New Trenton, IN and Karen Kinman of Bright, IN; son Anthony L. (Christina) Estridge of Okeana, OH; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister Minnie Brickner of W. Harrison, IN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Estridge and sisters Mae Taggert, Callie Glaub and Ovie Day. Visitation will be Wed. Oct. 5, 2005 from 11am-1pm followed by services at 1:00pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society.
