Norbert Farmer Sr.

Norbert Farmer Sr. passed away Sunday July 29, 2018 at the age of 92.  He was the beloved husband of Mary Catherine nee Bath. Eight children Cathy (Ron) Nevels, Debbie Ferrell (the late George Ferrell), Norb (Brenda)Farmer Jr., Rita (Rob) Hamon, Susan, Carol, Tim and Patricia (Gregg) Emard. 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Son of the late Raymond and Edna Farmer, Brother of the late Cleo, Roseanna, Paul, Joe and Thais.  Brother-in-law of the late George and Dee Lake, Al and Bernice Kunkel, Edna and the late Jerry Weaver.

Norbert worked 35 years at Campbell Hausfeld while also farming.  He also did sawmill work, autobody work and construction.  He enjoyed gardening and being outside on his porch swing watching the birds.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway St. Harrison, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, Ohio.  Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s, masses and St. John the Baptist church fund.
