Nellie Pearl Shelton

Nellie P. Shelton, loving wife of Pastor Winston Shelton, beloved mother of Mary Jean Bolser (Greg), Gary (Beverly), Jerry, Thomas (Shannon) & Wendell (Laurie) Shelton, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother to 32, sister of Iona Oakley and the late Robert and Joseph Hooker, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013. The 82 year old Cincinnati resident, was formerly of Harrison, OH. Born on May 6, 1931 in London, KY she was raised by Robert & Maranda (Jackson) Hollingsworth. Nellie married Winston Shelton, on February 14, 1953 in Richmond, IN. She was a member of the Forrest Hill Baptist Church. Visitation Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 3-7pm, with funeral service at 10am on Thursday, August 1, 2013, all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Jones officiating. Burial to follow in Venice Cemetery, Ross, OH. Memorials may be given to Forrest Hill Baptist Church for the Homeless Shelter c/o the funeral home.
