Naomi Sarah Heiskell

Naomi Sarah Heiskell, age 97 of Bright, IN passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at her home. Born July 19, 1910 in Dearborn County, IN she was the daughter of the late Timothy & Anna Eliza Belle (Williamson) Guard. She graduated in 1928 from Bright High School. On Dec. 2, 1944 she married Charles Heiskell. He passed away Sept. 18, 1968. Mrs. Heiskell was a member of the Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church in Bright, IN where she was an active member as past Sunday School teacher & pianist. She is survived by her daughter Carol (Art) Warburton of Bright, IN; grandchildren Julie (Jody) Dickerson, Paul (Mariah) Warburton, Charles (Crystal) Warburton and great grandchildren Grace, Tyler, Naomi Dickerson, Chloe, Camille & Riley Warburton. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Ella Jean Heiskell at the age of 12; sisters Lavella Liddell, Lillie Gillespie, Harriet Bowsaw & Louise Bentle & brothers George, Arthur, William & Floyd Guard. Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2007 from 10-11 AM followed by services at 11:00 AM all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Pastor Scott Stephens & Art Warburton officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery in Bright, IN. Memorials are suggested to Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church.
