Nancy Jo Haynes

Nancy Jo Haynes, loving wife of 50 years of Robert Haynes Sr., devoted mother of Robert Jr. (Tracy) of Mason, OH and Tina Tout (the late Doug) of Bright. Beloved daughter of Eunice Carota (the late Joseph). Sister of Jeff Carota and the late Natalie Bierman. Loving grandmother of Joei-Marie, Jacob, Brandon, Sheamus, Alex, and Madilyn. Loving niece of Helen Arnold. Passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2014 at Dearborn County Hospital in Hospice Care. She was 67 years young, of Bright, IN. Born on September 27, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH, Nancy grew up in Harrison, OH. She was in the class of 1966 at Harrison High School. Nancy married Robert Haynes in Williamstown, KY on June 10, 1965. Cooking was a big part of her life. She enjoyed cooking for her family and for the schools. Nancy was a long time employee of Southwest Local and Sunman Dearborn Schools. Traveling was another favorite of hers. She especially enjoyed going to the beach. Nancy also liked spending time with her dogs, she loved them just like they were her kids. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Suzanne Partridge and the staff at OHC. Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 3-5pm with a 5pm Memorial Service immediately following all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Rev. Harold Shackelford officiating. Memorials may be given to Dearborn County Hospital Hospice c/o the funeral home.
