Mossie Owen

Mossie Owen, age 87 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008 in Cincinnati, OH. Born in Bell County, KY on August 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John & Mahayley (Cox) Thompson. She married J.C. Owen on March 28, 1936 in Brookside, KY. Mossie is survived by her sons Jack (Lucy) Owen of W. Harrison, IN & Jerry (Carla) Owen of Delhi, OH; grandchildren Tina, Dinah, Jerry Jay & Rhonda; 5 great grandchildren & brother Houston Thompson of Harrogate, TN. Visitation will be Monday, May 19, 2008 from 10am-12 noon followed by services at 12 noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery in Bright, IN. Memorials are suggested to Service for the Aging in Franklin County.
