Modell Kolb, age 81 died Sept. 30, 2014 at her home in W. Harrison, IN surrounded by her family. Born Oct. 10, 1932 in Owsley County, KY she was the daughter of the late Hugh & Julia (Moore) Banks. She was a member of the Cross Point Church in St. Leon, IN. Survived by her husband of 60 years Rolland Kolb; children Cheryl (Skip) Hammonds of W. Harrison, IN, JoAnn (Bob) Black of W. Harrison, IN, Raymond (Susan Lowrie) Kolb of Belleville, MI, Norma (Walt) Wilson of Harrison, OH, Roger (Kathy) Kolb of W. Harrison, IN & Freda (Jim) Huber of W. Harrison, IN. Also missed by 22 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Bernice Banks, Barbara Sizemore, Kermit Banks, Jasper Banks & Freda Bennett. Modell loved her family, especially the babies and her church. She was a best friend to her children. She loved to travel and cross stitch. Visitation Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014; 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Services Monday, Oct. 6, 2014; 11:00am at St. Joseph Life Center, St. Leon, IN with Pastor David Chakranarayan officiating. Burial to follow in Gibson Cemetery, Bright, IN.
