Michael J Woodrum

Michael J. Woodrum, age 72 of Sayler Park, OH passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home. Born October 22, 1939 in St. Bernard, OH he was the son of the late Carl J. & Susan (Wethington) Woodrum. The 1959 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School worked at Monsanto as an electrician. On June 18, 1960 he married Bonita Howard at St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH. Michael is survived by his wife Bonita Woodrum, children Mark Howard (Robin) Woodrum of Union, KY, Mary Alyce (Stephen Michael) Bernat of West Chester, OH and the late Michael David (Kathy) Woodrum of Harrison, OH. In addition to his children, he is survived by his grandchildren Michael Vincent (Kori), David Timothy, James Herbert, Natassja Marie, Andrew Nathan, Alyssa Mae, Samuel Howard & Sophia Mae and great grandchildren Kalli, Connor, Breanna & Becca. He will also be missed by his siblings Nita (Ed) Laubert, Ann "Boots" (Dave) Kleinfeld, Frank (Joyce) Woodrum, Rita (Clyde) Hawkathorne and Shedna "Cookie" (Bill) Slayback. In addition to his parents and son, he was preceded in death by his brother Virgil Woodrum. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 7-9pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 10:30am at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Cincinnati, American Cancer Society or charity of donors choice c/o the funeral home.
